What if burnout is not just exhaustion but your nervous system asking for safety? In this episode, Erin Davis talks with trauma-informed coach Naomi Galliano to unpack nervous system regulation, burnout recovery, childhood trauma and how unresolved patterns can affect self-worth, relationships and even money. Naomi shares how ambitious mothers can break free from negative self-talk, emotional overwhelm and unworthiness by healing the trauma stored in the nervous system. Erin and Naomi also explore why trauma is not always the big obvious events, how burnout can show up quietly and why healing your inner world changes the way you show up in business, motherhood and wealth.

Show Notes
Burnout is thrown around a lot, but what does it actually mean when your body starts saying no?
In this episode, Erin is joined by Naomi Galliano, a trauma-informed coach who helps ambitious mothers heal deep nervous system patterns connected to negative self-talk, emotional overwhelm and unworthiness. Naomi shares her own story of burnout, including the brain fog, exhaustion, flatness, and loss of inspiration that left her unable to show up in the way she once had. She explains how her recovery led her into deeper trauma work and a new understanding of what was really happening beneath the surface.
Together, Erin and Naomi explore what nervous system regulation really means. Rather than aiming to feel regulated all the time, Naomi explains that the goal is to create more balance between stress, growth, spaciousness and recovery. This is especially important for women in business, where constant pressure, over-functioning and people-pleasing can quietly drive burnout.
A powerful part of the conversation focuses on trauma. Naomi breaks down the difference between big T trauma and little t trauma, showing how even seemingly ordinary childhood experiences like emotional invalidation, needing to earn love, or growing up too fast can leave lasting nervous system imprints. These patterns can later show up as procrastination, self-sabotage, difficulty receiving, fear of slowing down, or not feeling safe to have more money and success.
Naomi also shares her healing framework, including awareness, attunement, and taking action. She explains that inner work matters, but real rewiring happens when women also follow it up with new behaviour, creating a corrective emotional experience that teaches the body it is safe to move forward.
This episode is a powerful listen for women who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, regulate their nervous system with compassion, and create success from a place of safety instead of survival.
